Our Attorneys & Our Experience

richardglazer
Richard H. Glazer has extensive experience in representing private property owners in appropriation matters.  His experience includes trying cases before juries, as well as representing landowners in Mediations and Settlement Negotiations.  Mr. Glazer uses appraisers, architects, and other experts to evaluate each appropriation and to prepare drawings and other exhibits to demonstrate the effect of the appropriation on the property and its value.  Mr. Glazer thoroughly analyzes the appropriation in each individual case, so as to maximize the owner’s claims for compensation.

He is one of only 40 attorneys selected nationwide to be a member of Owner’s Counsel of America, which consists of prominent eminent domain attorneys representing property owners. Richard Glazer is the only member selected from the State of Ohio.  Richard Glazer gained experience in the field of eminent domain by heading the Cincinnati Eminent Domain Office of the Ohio Attorney General, where he represented the Ohio Department of Transportation in condemnation cases.  While in the Attorney General’s office, he authored a manual on Ohio Eminent Domain Law.  Richard Glazer only represents landowners in appropriation cases, and he does not represent government agencies, pipeline companies, and utility companies.  Mr. Glazer has also taught Business Law at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Business Administration.  Mr. Glazer has served on the Board of Directors of Owners’ Counsel of America.

Richard Glazer has been a speaker at various recent eminent domain seminars.
